We are looking for a determined, high-energy, well-organized individual for the position of Sr. IT Specialist with working experience with several operating systems and software applications to join our talented team on-site in Livermore, California.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Working experience/expertise with Azure Active Directory (AD) administration

  • Expertise in IT security protocols, firewalls, and threat management.

  • Experience with Exchange calendar/shared folder permissions and delegation

  • Ability to create queries and manage user accounts

  • Configure and support email migrations, user profiles, and mailboxes.

  • Proficient in PowerShell, VB Script, Perl, Python, Shell

  • Virtual environment experience, especially VMWare

  • Skills to regularly test backups and verify data integrity to ensure successful recovery.

  • Experience with Windows Server 2012R2, 2016, and 2019

Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite and remote technical support to end users

  • Assist in creating and maintaining departmental procedures, workflows and metrics to optimize departmental efficiency

  • Provide Active Directory support for users, security and distribution groups

  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated Help Desk issues relating to MS O365 and dental applications and software systems

  • Troubleshoot EMC Avamar backup solutions

  • All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience working in an IT or Sr. IT Specialist position required

  • Clear and effective communicator with the ability to present technical information

  • Familiarity with troubleshooting user access, mail flow issues, and office 365 performance

  • Detail-oriented, organized and thorough while creatively finding solutions to problems and optimizing processes

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/computer science or equivalent working experience

Pay: $42.00 - $44.00 per hour
